Flagship FAQ: Automatic Monthly Giving

Today, we’re back to answer another question posed by our supporters: Can I support the SS United States through automatic monthly giving?

Periodically, Conservancy members will reach out to us, mentioning that they have made a donation in the past but cannot remember when their membership is up for renewal. One simple way to handle this is to convert your annual membership donation to an automatic monthly giving amount.

If you currently give $50 each year, consider donating $5 per month; if you give $100 each year, consider a donation of $10 per month — or enter your own custom amount! You'll still receive all membership benefits and an annual letter summarizing your contributions to assist in preparing your tax returns. (Donations to the Conservancy are tax-exempt as permitted by law.) Best of all, you can support the Conservancy with just a single click!

Here's how to set it up:

When you donate online you'll see a checkbox below your donation amount, reading "Make this a monthly donation." Select that checkbox, and whatever dollar amount you enter will automatically be deducted each month! You can also find the link on our website, along with other giving options.
