Young supporter holds bake sale to help save the Big U
At just 14 years old, Julianna, an avid SS United States supporter and donor, has held several fundraisers to help support the Conservancy’s mission to save our nation’s flagship.
Last weekend, Julianna held a bake sale and raised over $25 for our cause.
When asked her thoughts on the Big U, Julianna answered without hesitation:
“What can I say about The Big U? I Iove her, and anyone who knows me knows that. I have been praying every single night that she gets saved, and I wear my SS United States Conservancy bracelet every single day. She is without a doubt the greatest ocean liner ever built, and I will be absolutely devastated if she gets reefed or scrapped. This is the last chance we will ever have to save her, and if there's anything I know, it's that we cannot lose the greatest, fastest, safest, and most beautiful ship ever built.”
