New York Chapter of the Conservancy Marches in 2017 Veterans Day Parade

On November 11th, the SS United States Conservancy’s New York Chapter marched up Fifth Avenue in the New York Veterans Day Parade in honor of the brave men and women who have served our nation.

The Conservancy extends our sincere thanks to those that proudly represented America's Flagship in the parade, and to New York Chapter co-chairs Paul Stipkovich and Glenn Lappin for coordinating this fantastic event!

On behalf of the New York Chapter, we also offer a special thank you to Ralph Casado, Robin Lampert, Byron Huart, Keith Lappin, Mike St. Amour (on stilts) and Valarie D’Elia (of Travel With Val) for their extra special assistance this year and without whom the Chapter could not have had such a successful presence in the parade.

A full live stream of the New York Veterans Day Parade can be watched HERE, and more photos, courtesy of the New York Chapter, found below:

There are many different ways to get involved and help save the Big U. We have an amazing community of regional Conservancy chapters that you can join, and we encourage you to spread the word about the SS United States to friends and family.
