Your Crucial Role: Thank You for Supporting Our 2017 Appeal

The SS United States Conservancy would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the many generous supporters who contributed to our 2017 Winter Appeal, helping to ensure that we can continue our vital work in the months ahead.

Whether you renewed your Conservancy membership for another year, or made a donation for the very first time, we are so very grateful for your crucial backing. Your gift will be directly applied to the Conservancy’s many programs, including the vessel's upkeep and preservation, curatorial initiatives, educational outreach and museum planning. Without your generous and steadfast support, the SS United States would simply not remain safely afloat.

We greatly appreciate your contribution — donors will soon be receiving a formal acknowledgment and membership card by mail. As we upgrade our internal systems, we have experienced some delays in mailing out these acknowledgments, so we thank you for your patience.

Those who contributed at the SS United States Benefactor level or above will also receive a special expression of our appreciation: a small print of Theodore Ewen's beautiful painting of the SS United States under the light of the moon.

Across America and around the world, the Big U continues to inspire. She reminds us of the power of innovation, creativity and determination, and of what can be accomplished when we join arm-in-arm to advance common goals. Together, we can save the SS United States!

Worried that you missed our 2017 Winter Appeal? You can still play an essential role in securing the future of America's Flagship by making your donation today.

Looking ahead, it's also not too late to book your ticket aboard the first-ever SS United States Legacy Cruise, sailing for Bermuda in May, 2017. With seven exciting nights featuring SS United States themed programming and the music, dance and fashion of the transatlantic liner era — this is an opportunity not to be missed!
